- Android is Open-source - You can view/edit/share the source code of Android OS and 'Linux Kernel' .
- Android is customizable - You can customize from nuts and bolts in Android. Android is free! So that poor and rich can afford it. Thus, it has a huge user base, is more popular and will get higher flexibility.
- Android runs on multi configuration - Because Android OS can run on any Processor/Board/Model/Manufacturer you can choose your best company that gives you best offers.
Other important points about Android :
- Android is expandable - You can expand latest features on smart phones on Android with ease.
- Android is not property - Even though Google holds it ownership, Anyone can use Android OS for any need.
- Android is 'Linux Based' - 'Linux' has got a powerful Kernel that brings most out of a system.
- Android is backward compatible - Android does have the maximum backward component support.
- Google helps Android - Will very best features from Google like Play Services, Analytics , Fire base,and much more. Android is a wrapper of everything.
- Android uses Java - Rather than Objective C, Java is very easy to learn but have some speed limitations. But Java is very very safer than C and also fully sandbox able execution.
- First on Android - Most applications beta or release versions are only available to Android prior giving to iOS.
- Google supports iOS but iOS not - Even Google supports iOS by providing Users Interface and everything like Google Maps, Google Drive etc. Apple has less interests in providing their services for Android users in form of Apps.
