As per the government directive, all mobile phone users in the country need to link their SIM cards to their Aadhaar by February 6, 2018. In order to make the process easier and more convenient for all citizens, the government has announced new methods for the process following which users can link their SIM cards without the need to go their respective service providers.
There are two new methods for SIM card verification:
Subscribers can either complete the verification process on the service provider's website.
They can also complete the verification via the voice-based IVR helpline provided by their respective provider.
